Update Guide (Only for Laramagz v1.3.1)

Before updating, do the following steps:

  1. Compress to zip all the files and folders of your website on the hosting and then download them for backup.

  2. Backup service-account-credentials.json (If you have it).

  3. Backup .env file.

  4. Backup the contents of the public folder in storage.

  5. Backup your website mysql database via phpMyadmin (main backup in case export - import Laramagz fails).

    export table
  6. Extract package laramagz-v1.3.2. Open the app/updates folder. Copy the Exports folder.

  7. Go to your website folder. Replace app/Exports.

  8. Go to Laramagz Settings page, in Web Backup click the Download Export File Data button and Download Backup Storage. Data file contains your website data to be imported and Storage contains public storage files.

export

After doing the steps above, you are ready to install the Laramagz update.

I’m sorry that the installation process is done manually so your website will have problems so it is recommended to redirect it.

  1. Delete all old version laramagz files and folders.

  2. Upload hosting-v1.3.2 to your hosting.

  3. Create a new database or use an old database (previously delete all tables).

  4. Import laramagz-v1.3.2.sql to your database.

  5. Re-adjust the contents of the .env file with the previous .env.

  6. Re-upload service-account-credentials.json (If you have it).

  7. Upload your backup public storage to the storage folder in public_html (main domain) or your subdomain folder.

  8. Enter the dashboard, go to Settings > Web Backup. Then import the laramagz-backup.xlsx file.

    import
  9. Done.
